Lunch with the Kids

We were happy that we had a chance to see Erin, Andrew and our grandkids Crixus and Aubrey! Crixus will be 13 next month and Aubrey is 11. They seem so grown up since we last saw them!

Campsite Greeter

This little fellow was waiting to greet us at our campsite, and he didn't seem to be the least bit shy! He's a white-crowned sparrow, and I bet he's used to picking up crumbs around here.

My Dinner Tonight!

Rose made a new recipe for Chicken Pastil tonight. A little bit like adobo, but with a different sort of flavor...less vinegar, I think. Also a side of Dilis...or dried anchovies, a crunchy, salty slightly fishy snack.

Locally Grown Blueberries

We just bought 10 pounds of sweet, ripe locally grown blueberries! We got them from our friends Martin and Leah Clave of DelEv Blueberry Patch.
