You Can’t Have too Much Lavender!

It’s May 11 and our front yard is in bloom! So far we’ve got rhododendron, peonies, roses, Spanish lavender and clematis, with more on the way!

Roses’s Roses

While I was doing my yard work this morning I noticed that Rose’s roses were busy getting dressed up for summer! These roses hold a special significance for us. Our friend Carmella Hardin planted them for us in July, 2016 while I was having emergency cardiac surgery. Rose steadfastly by my side. It was the first summer in our new house. Rose surprised me with spaghetti & meat sauce for dinner! She used some black angus ground beef from Greg & Mylane Kennerly’s ranch. 😊🍝
