Encounter with a Great White Egret

I took a walk on the beach this morning. The weather was great, and I came upon a Great White Egret. I had no time to get out my iphone so I just used my Ray Ban Metas, which I was using to listen to music. I had to enlarge and crop the video considerably.

Coos Bay Oysters

We stopped in Charleston at Chuck’s Seafood on the way back from Shore Acres and got a couple dozen oysters for dinner. Rose steamed them and may a lemon butter sauce, and I had my sriracha sauce.

We spent the afternoon at Shore Acres State park Botanical Garden at Coos Bay Oregon. It was very interesting and beautifully kept!

Early Morning Walk

An early morning Walk along the beach at Bay Point Landing. The weather is foggy and cool, and the tide is rising, although not yet high, exposing seaweed. The calls of the seagulls and crows are pretty much the only sounds. Even though there are a lot of people around, the feeling is of a windswept solitude.
